The Mahindra BE 6 was launched in late 2024 to carve out a new identity in the electric compact crossover set. Built on the all-new INGLO electric vehicle architecture, it sports bold coupe-SUV proportions with muscular wheel arches and sharp LED lighting.

The BE 6 comes with two battery options-a 59-kWh battery pack with 231 hp and 380 Nm torque, and the other being a bigger 79-kWh BYD-sourced pack with 286 hp and the same amount of torque .
These powertrains allow for fast acceleration in 6.7 sec from 0 to 100 km/h, an outstanding ARAI-certified range of 556 km and 682 km, respectively . DC fast charging can fill up the battery from 20% to 80% in 20 minutes, while AC charging ranges from 6 to 12 hours, depending on the charger used .

Inside, the BE 6 boasts the new MAIA software suite from Mahindra, with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chipset powering it, displays in tandem on 12.3-inch panels, connects via 5G, and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with digital key potential on top of it all . The top variants boast a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system alongside Level 2 ADAS features such as adaptive cruise, drowsiness detection, and a 360-degree camera. Safety has gone from strength to strength, earning a 5-star rating with options for six or seven airbags .
Price and the Choice of Variants
The BE 6 comes in five variants, from Pack One to Pack Three. Prices begin at ₹18.90 lakh for the 59 kWh Pack One base variant and stretch up to ₹26.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the full-blooded 79 kWh Pack Three . Chargers are also optional at ₹50,000 for the 7.2 kW and ₹75,000 for the 11.2 kW option

Mahindra has already delivered thousands, with BE 6 accumulating over 30,000 bookings on both BE 6 and its sibling XEV 9e models .
